Local produce and crafts

This is the most visited open-air market in south-eastern Mallorca and it’s located in the historic centre of Santanyí. It is held every Wednesday and Saturday throughout the year except on public holidays. With over 150 fruit and vegetable stalls, mainly grown by farmers in the area, tourists and residents can visit the market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Visitors can also buy local products and crafts (ceramics, decorative items, textiles, leather and footwear). As it’s in the heart of Santanyí in Plaza Mayor, next to the church, most of its streets are pedestrianised and there are many bars and restaurants where you can rest after some good shopping in the market.
It’s the go-to market on the island for quality kilometre-zero produce.
